During the national lockdown from 5th January to 5th March 2021, we offered a blended approach to remote learning at Hampton College Primary. This blended approach included a balance of pre-recorded videos, both created by our teaching staff and from external providers (e.g. White Rose, Oak National Academy, PiXL); live sessions and lessons using Microsoft Teams; accompanying resources which were sent by email every day before 9.00am and a range of interactive websites and applications (e.g. Spelling Shed, Oxford Owl, ictgames.co.uk).
In reception, remote learning was set using Tapestry on a daily basis.
As we return to school from Monday 8th March 2021, all pupils will be welcomed back to Hampton College Primary on a full time basis. Should your child need to isolate due to Covid-19, or in the event of a Bubble closure due to Covid-19 in school, the remote learning offer will vary. In individual cases of self-isolation, it is likely that a home learning pack will be provided for the duration of the isolation period. Where whole Bubbles are closed, we may be able to provide blended remote learning depening on staff availability. In either cirumstance we will provide details of our remote learning offer within 24 hours.
