  • Our Class Routines

In year 1 the children will be given a reading book which will be changed on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please ensure that your child has their book in school every day for reading time and that they are reading regularly at home too. We ask for reading records to be signed by parents once they have read with their children.

PE days for Owls are Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Please could we ask that PE kits are in school from Monday to Friday each week in case PE days are changed at short notice.

From the second half of the autumn term, every Monday the children will receive phonics words to learn. We ask for the children to bring these in every Monday so that we can give them 5 new words each week.

Home learning will be sent home during the spring and summer terms.

  • Our Curriculum

    • Paws, Claws and Whiskers
